As promised I’ve uploaded a few images of the gorgeous Lupins I took the other day. I was going to go to take some this evening (the Golden Hour) but the weather is so rubbish I’ve had to dig out my ‘big’ coat and my socks! What has happened to the warm sunny weather we’ve been having of late? Hopefully the weather looks better and I’ll got some images of the fields & flowers.
Golden hour photography
The golden hour in photography is widely seen as the best time of day to shoot. At golden hour the light is warm and soft – enhancing landscapes, flowers etc (more on how to shoot coming soon).
Look at the stunning colours
The term lupine, from the Latin for “wolf,” derives from the mistaken belief that these plants depleted, or “wolfed,” minerals from the soil. The contrary is true, however; lupines aid soil fertility by fixing nitrogen from the air in a soil form useful for other plants.Just Fun Facts 2021
